Abstract: The gravity and magnetic data along the profile across the southern part of the Cauvery basin have been collected and the data is interpreted for crustal structure depths. The third profile is taken from Manamudrai to Eruvadi covering a distance of 65 km. The gravity lows and highs have clearly indicated various sub-basins and ridges. The density logs from ONGC, Chennai, show that the density contrast decreases with depth in the sedimentary basin, and hence, the gravity profile is interpreted using variable density contrast with depth. From the Bouguer gravity anomaly, the residual anomaly is constructed by graphical method correlating with well data and subsurface geology. The residual anomaly profiles is interpreted using polygon and prismatic models. The maximum depths to the granitic gneiss basement are obtained as 4.50 km. The regional anomaly is interpreted as Moho rise towards coast. The aeromagnetic anomaly profile is also interpreted for charnockite basement below the granitic gneiss group of rocks using prismatic model.

Abstract: Due to its unique natural geographical environment , Shandong Province has formed a variety of rocky landscapes . The types of rocky landforms distributed in Shandong Province mainly include volcanic landforms , karst landforms , Daigu landforms , clastic rock landforms , estuary landforms and coastal landforms . This paper will describe the types, distribution and causes of rocky landforms in Shandong in order to achieve the purpose of summarizing the types of rocky landforms..

Abstract: Shandong Province is a province with a large collection of paleontological fossils, and a lot of work has been done to protect paleontological fossil specimens. There are more than 34,000 paleontological fossil specimens in the collection of Shandong Provincial Museum, and there are 14 key fossil collection institutions . The types of specimens are comprehensive, including almost all categories of paleontological fossils. The sources of specimens are divided into self-collection, purchase , collection, donation and other methods. Shandong Provincial Museum has 22,233 key protected paleontological fossils, 12,723 general protected paleontological fossils , among the key protected paleontological fossils, there are 4,843 first-level key protected paleontological fossils, 15,525 second-level key protected paleontological fossils, and 1,865 third-level key protected paleontological fossils pieces
