Abstract: Esophageal cancer is recognized globally as one of the ten most frequently diagnosed malignancies and is known for its rapid progression and unfavorable prognosis. It primarily exists in two forms: esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC). The disease has seen an increasing prevalence worldwide, especially across Asia and Africa, underscoring the urgent need for more effective treatment approaches.
