Abstract : The contribution of spatial skills to a shared understanding of the world and the society is crucial to the development of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Thus, the early development of the skills must be maximized. This study examined spatial skills as predictors of students’ academic achievement in and attitude towards mathematics at the senior secondary school. Descriptive survey research was used for the investigation. Sample comprised of 1500 senior secondary school II (SS 2) students from thirty public schools in five local government......

Abstract : This paper deal with Numerical evaluation of risk-averse vendors in optimizing quantity with perishable items on a proposed single-period loss function with Conditional Value at Risk. Here, the retailer’s optimal price and cycle length are determined by forming an economic order quantity model of the retailer’s possible loss considering the perishability of the items and other market factors. The model is optimized to obtain the retailer’s optimal trade cycle length and price. The retailer's profit or loss is then calculated with the EOQ model. The risk involved in the business.....

Abstract : Background: From 2012 to 2018, pupils taking the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) routinely performed poorly in mathematics on a national level. In KCSE Test data from 2012 to 2018, it was noted that probability was one of the mathematical concepts that the majority of pupils found challenging. A novel approach that advocates for the incorporation of computer assisted learning methods like simulation has been put out to address the issue......
