Abstract:Religious tourism is among the most ancient and rapidly expanding sectors. This study examines the impact of local community attachment on the sustainability of a religious tourism attraction, focusing on Subukia Shrine as the research site. The sample comprised houses situated near the Shrine in Kenya. Where the majority of the population adheres to Christianity. 300 valid questionnaires were analysed.
