Abstract: The integration of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) into power grids presents significant challenges, particularly concerning transient stability. This study focuses on analysing the transient stability of an RES-dominated power grid, with a focus on solar PV systems. The work aims to evaluate the impact of varying irradiance levels on the grid and analyse their transient stability response under transient events.
