Abstract: Background: The advent of 3D printing technology, especially Digital Light Processing (DLP), has greatly influenced the manufacturing of dental crowns. The drawback associated with 3D printing is the amount of data or material loss while the support structure is removed. Optimization of the support structure is important to enhance the dimensional accuracy of the final product, the dental prosthesis. The focus of this study is to assess the efficacy of generative design, an artificial intelligence-based approach, in the manufacture of the support structure.........

Abstract: Background: Occupational stress and psychosomatic pain disorders have emerged as pervasive yet underrecognized issues within the dental profession. Dentists face unique physical, cognitive, and emotional demands that predispose them to chronic stress, musculoskeletal strain, and psychosomatic manifestations, particularly in the orofacial region. About 60% of dentists report frequent stress, with over 80% experiencing moderate to severe stress-related symptoms. This stress contributes to conditions such as temporomandibular disorders, burning mouth syndrome, and tension-type headaches, which often remain under diagnosed in clinical practice.......

Abstract: Inadequate opioid prescribing at the time of discharge after a traumatic injury plays a major, evidence-supported role in the occurrence of pain-related revisits to the emergency department (ED) within 30 days. Research shows that around 25% of trauma patients needing opioids leave without a prescription, and this absence of pain relief is directly linked to higher rates of return visits.

Abstract: The simultaneous occurrence of breast carcinoma and tuberculous lymphadenitis in axillary lymph nodes is a rare clinical entity that poses diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. Here, we report a case of a 71-year-old woman diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma of the right breast. Axillary lymph node dissection performed during surgery revealed histological evidence of tuberculous lymphadenitis. This coexistence is exceptionally uncommon and emphasizes the need to consider tuberculosis as a differential diagnosis in lymph node pathology, especially in endemic regions. Histopathological confirmation is crucial to prevent misdiagnosis, under-staging, or inappropriate treatment.

Abstract: Primary intraosseous carcinoma (PIOC) is a rare malignant neoplasm arising within the jaw bones, derived from odontogenic epithelial remnants without initial connection to the oral mucosa. We report a case of PIOC in a 65-year-old male who presented with a progressive swelling in the right maxillary alveolar region a year after tooth extraction. Imaging revealed an expansile osteolytic mass involving the right maxilla with extension into the maxillary sinus and palate.........

Removable retainers such as Hawley’s and Essix retainers are commonly prescribed, yet patient-reported outcomes regarding comfort, speech, aesthetics, and durability remain variable. Aim: To comparatively evaluate patient satisfaction with Hawley’s and Essix removable retainers using a questionnaire-based survey. Materials and Methods: A questionnaire-based comparative study was conducted among 50 patients undergoing orthodontic retention therapy........

Abstract: Accurate three‑dimensional (3D) assessment of tooth–pulp morphology from cone‑beam computed tomography (CBCT) is essential for endodontic diagnosis, age estimation, and surgical planning. This study presents a deep learning–based workflow for automated segmentation and quantitative morphometric analysis of tooth and pulp structures using the Pulpy3D CBCT dataset. The proposed pipeline integrates preprocessing, convolutional neural network (CNN) segmentation.......

Abstract: We have witnessed an explosion in telehealth adoption globally, driven by an urgent necessity for remote consultations, tele-ICU capabilities, and continuous patient monitoring. Yet, the reality on the ground is that many current platforms struggle to keep up. They are often plagued by technical bottlenecks—specifically latency spikes, network congestion, and security vulnerabilities that leave patient data exposed.

Abstract: Children in public elementary/secondary schools' basic oral health knowledge and cleanliness habits are seen as a major concern, considering the fact that poor knowledge and hygiene practices are associated with a number of health issues. The aim of this study was to find out public elementary/secondary school children`s basic oral health knowledge and hygiene practices. The study employed a cross-sectional survey design with as simple random sample approach to choose a total of 250 respondents from two schools; one elementary and one secondary schools......
