Abstract: Aim: To evaluate and compare the porcelain bond strength of Nickel-Chromium and Cobalt-Chromium alloys. Materials and Methods: The alloy systems used in the study were one proprietary brand each of nickelchromium and cobalt-chromium alloy type- Commend- and Lithecast respectively. For the porcelain bond strength study, five test specimens were made each with Commend and Lithecast. The Vintage porcelain system was employed for the porcelain application. The specimens were tested on Instron testing machine. Results: Student't' test revealed no significant difference in the porcelain bond strength between nickelchromium and cobalt-chromium alloys- Commend and Lithecast respectively...............

Abstract: It is a well recognized fact that back pain in a disc disease is due to chemical inflammation in addition to compression of neural elements[1].Surgery aims at decompressing the pressure on neural elements and conservative treatment aims to combat the chemical radiculitis. Since the advent of epidural analgesia by Corning in 1885 epidural medications have been used in the treatment of this condition for over 100 years. However, controversy still persists regarding their effectiveness in reducing the pain and improving function. This study aims at analyzing the effectiveness of epidural steroid in a diagnosed and confirmed case of lumbar disc herniation.

Abstract: 'Salivary proteins have an important influence in tooth enamel remineralize associated with calcium hydroxyapatite. Statherin is the most powerful protein that binds calcium hydroxyapatite in saliva than other calcium-binding protein. Infection in gingiva and periodontal caused alteration of statherin and calcium levels. Therefore, researchers wanted to determine and to compare salivary statherin and calcium levels in gingivitis and periodontitic mainly on the Indonesian as an initial data to explore the influence of statherin and calcium in patients with gingivitis and periodontitic. By spitting method, 54 samples of whole saliva taken from gingivitis and periodontitic patients ; aged 20-50 years,...............
