Abstract: The study examines the design of teaching materials for mechanics learners at Mwene-Ditu Secondary Schools. Using a mixed-methods approach, it evaluates the impact of these materials on learners' comprehension, engagement, and interest in mechanics. Preliminary findings suggest that effective materials enhance learning and interest in engineering and technology careers.

Abstract: Resumo Relata-se uma investigação qualitativa, descritivo-exploratória, conduzida como pesquisa-ação em uma escola pública de Tempo Integral, situada na zona rural da Fronteira Oeste do Rio Grande do Sul.
