Abstract: Introduction
The paucity of data and the controversies in the studies on the restorative effects of Vitamin D on improving insulin resistance and hyperglycemia, pose a major risk in the fight against metabolic complication associated with polycystic ovary syndrome especially in developing countries like Kenya. Objectives The objective of the study was to determine the restorative effects of Vitamin d on insulin, luteinizing, testosterone and anti-mullerian hormone levels as markers of insulin resistance in polycystic ovary syndrome patients attending Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Western part of Kenya..
