ABSTRACT: Nigeria is today dominated by food imports and exports of agricultural products, unlike a time when Nigeria produced food for its own needs. Insufficient food production is also contributed to by unpredictable climatic conditions, while on the other hand, Nigeria has sufficient resources and opportunities to achieve independent food production (food security) without major imports. Edible landscapes can emerge as transition movements of local community initiatives or other groups and individuals (bottom-up), or stem from documents of spatial planning and landscape planning.......

ABSTRACT: Background: Oral mucositis is a common and painful side effect experienced by patients undergoing radiation therapy for carcinoma of the buccal mucosa. Effective, low-cost interventions are needed to reduce its severity. This study evaluates the effectiveness of warm water, salt and sodium bicarbonate mouth rinse in reducing the severity of oral mucositis and improving patient comfort. Methods: An experimental study was conducted among 50 patients diagnosed with carcinoma buccal mucosa undergoing radiation therapy. Participants in the intervention group received warm water, salt and sodium bicarbonate mouth rinse Every 2 hr daily. Mucositis severity was assessed weekly using the WHO Oral Mucositis Grading Scale over 4 weeks.......

ABSTRACT: The dusung agriculture development model, a traditional form of agroforestry in Central Maluku, remains largely underexplored. In this model, the dynamics of land utilization evolve alongside the farming practices carried out in the land area according to climate conditions and transitional seasons. Over time, these cultivated areas are allowed to develop naturally into a new ecosystem resembling a forest garden with a pattern of annual crops, monoculture crops, and mixed plants (MPTs). ABSTRACT: An obscure group of islands called Vipin, cut off from the Indian landmass by backwaters of the Arabian Sea, is home to a uniquely interesting culture that depends solely on the sea for its basic necessities- food and shelter. ABSTRACT: This study investigated the impact of motivation and job satisfaction on the work ethic of flight personnel in the aviation industry. The research adopted a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of how motivational factors and job satisfaction influence employees’ diligence, commitment, and adherence to professional standards. The study surveyed 200 flight personnel across multiple airlines, and in-depth interviews were conducted with 30 participants to explore perceptions of motivation, satisfaction, and work behaviors........

ABSTRACT: In the evolving landscape of higher education, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is playing a transformative role in how science education is governed, managed and aligned with institutional values. This study examines undergraduate science teachers' perceptions and utilization of ICT, particularly in academic planning, quality assurance, faculty development, inclusive teaching practices, and institutional goals such as gender equity and international collaboration. While there has been a significant increase in female labor force participation, deep-rooted social conventions and systemic barriers continue to hinder women’s career progression. Despite a substantial workforce of over 69.5 million, Japan faces challenges in providing equitable opportunities, especially for women encountering social obstacles in employment.
