ABSTRACT: Background: Radiation therapy can be administered using Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), a technique that allows the beam's intensity to be adjusted within the treatment field. To achieve this, a large beam was splitted into numerous smaller beamlets. The specific weights of these numerous beamlets are determined by performing computerized inverse optimization after dose limitations are applied to both the target and sensitive structures. So this study aims to optimize and improve the treatment time delivery for IMRT cases and evaluate its influence on the plan quality.....
