Abstract: The study examined the impacts of fuel subsidy removal on undergraduates’ studying and examination in public tertiary institutions in Cross River State, Nigeria. Two purposes, research questions and hypotheses guided the study. The study adopted correlational research design. The population of the study comprised of 68,560 undergraduates in four tertiary institutions in the study area. The sample size of the study comprised 398 students. Two instruments were developed by the researcher to collect data for the study. These are the Subsidy Removal Impacts Assessment Scale (SRIAS) and the Undergraduates Academic Activities Questionnaire (UAAQ).
