Abstract: This study examines the economic significance of Gum Arabic (Acacia senegal) among local people in northern Upper Nile State, South Sudan. A total of 120 respondents representing different age groups, genders, and economic activities were surveyed to assess their demographic characteristics, income sources, and level of awareness regarding the economic role of Gum Arabic.
