Abstract: The knowledge of the variability of a received signal at distant points to the Base Station (BS) is key for reliable and efficient radio signal transmissions. In consequence, developing a robust Path Loss Model (PLM) for determining the Path Loss (PL) between a High Altitude Platform Station (HAPS) and the User Equipment (UE) on the ground is crucial in positioning the HAPS.
