Abstract: Rabies is a uniformly fatal viral zoonosis that continues to be a significant public health challenge in endemic regions. Neuroimaging, while not diagnostic, provides valuable supportive evidence, particularly in atypical or paralytic presentations where clinical suspicion may be delayed. We report the case of a 10-year-old boy with paralytic rabies who developed ascending quadriparesis and encephalopathy despite receiving four doses of anti-rabies vaccine but.....

Abstract: Introduction
Despite the growing evidence suggesting a link between Vitamin D and insulin resistance, there exists controversies and conflicting study findings on the efficacy of Vitamin D supplementation on improving insulin resistance and glycemic control in women living with polycystic ovary syndrome.
Objectives
The objective of the study was to determine the ameliorating effects of Vitamin D on Cytokines as markers of insulin resistance and glycemic status in PCOS patients attending Mediheal Fertility Center and Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital...

Abstract: Tooth fractures present both functional and aesthetic challenges, especially when involving molars. This case describes the management of a fractured segment in the mandibular left molar, treated by approximating the fragment using a band, performing root canal therapy, and reinforcing with a horizontal post. The technique preserved tooth structure, restored occlusion, and achieved satisfactory long-term prognosis......

Abstract: Pachymic acid (PA) is a lanostane-type triterpenoid isolated from Poria cocos, a traditional medicinal fungus. It exhibits potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antimicrobial, and osteogenic properties. Recent studies have explored its use in dentistry for reducing inflammation, enhancing bone and dentin regeneration, improving material biocompatibility, and inhibiting oral pathogens. This review summarizes the current evidence on the biological properties, mechanisms of action, and potential dental applications of PA, highlighting its promise as a multifunctional biomolecule in bioactive and regenerative dentistry..

Abstract: Immediate loading of Implants gained popularity as successful outcome in implant dentistry as it allow for the placement of prosthesis immediately after the implant placement. This approach differs from conventional methods, which require a longer healing period and longer edentulousness. Advancements in implant technology with improved implant designs and surface treated implants had made immediate loading to achieve better primary stability, essential for osseointegration. Studies indicate that comparable to conventional techniques, immediate...
