Abstract: Self-employment provides personal freedom and empowerment, stimulate innovation and financial independence. The Kaivalya Self-Employment Scheme in Kerala supports people with disabilities to start their own businesses ventures. This article explores the success metrices of the Kaivalya self-employment Scheme for differently abled people in Ernakulam district in Kerala. Launched in 2016, the scheme aims to support differently abled individuals through entrepreneurship by providing financial assistance and training.
