Abstract: It is currently estimated that 347 million people worldwide suffer from diabetes with more than 80% from low and middle income countries. In the past twenty years the global death rate from diabetes has doubled (Lancet). WHO is predicting that this will increase by two thirds by 2030.(WHO). Global Morbidity and Mortality associated with Diabetes:According to International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Report 2009 it was around four million deaths in the age group of 20-79 years in 2010 accounting for 6.8% globally. IDF in 2006 reported >50 million diabetes people in South East Asia. (IDF 2009) (Indian express, Wed Nov 14 2012)

| Title | : | OverpressureEstimation Using Combined Wireline data and Seismically-Generated Acoustic Impedance with Tectonic Evidences in aNiger Delta field |

Abstract: Overpressure issues in prospecting for hydrocarbon arecritical, constituting an all-important input in drilling campaigns for economic and safety purposes. Estimation of overpressure using a combined approach is more reliable. Wireline log data and derived acoustic impedances (AI) of the seismic volume of this field were applied. The Eaton's modified model that converted compressional velocities to Vertical Effective Stresses were used to obtain the subsurface pore pressure (PP). The AI of a Prestack Depth Migration seismic volume was generated as its amplitudeshows some tectonic issues. In well 1,2132.8ms and 2268.6ms correspond to depths of between 2600m and 2800m on the log panel with a pore pressure gradient of 0.67psi/ft. From about 2700ms (above 3400m),

Abstract: The aim of the research is to determine the water balance of Tunggaoen Boa water catchment area in Rote Island, East Nusa Tenggara. The rain falls as an important factor in water balance to supply water for domestic consumptions and farm-agricultural sectors were calculated and recommendations to develop proper water management and conservation to countermeasure water scarcity were proposed. Field survey was done in Tunggaoen Boa water catchment area. Field survey was done to generate data related to population distribution, livestock, and agricultural lands inside the modeled water catchment area. These data was calculated and analyzed to identify the standard of minimum water requirement. The mathematical model was performed to identify waterfall input.........
