| Title | : | Digital Broadband Seismograph Setup to Study the Seismicity in Maitri Antarctica Region |
| Country | : | India |
| Authors | : | Satish Saha |
Abstract: 165 million years ago, Antarctica was joined to Africa, Australia, India, New Zealand and South America forming the super continent, Gondwanaland. Antarctica is like a different planet on earth, owned by nobody. Antarctica is designated as "a natural reserve, devoted to peace of science"(Environmental Protocol 1991).The world windiest, coldest continent has an area of 14 million Sq. Km. Seismicity in the Antarctica............

Abstract: Based on accurately well small layer contrast recognition breakpoint results and the accurate results of 3D seismic fine interpretation, and the main fault plane and the secondary fault plane of the segmented growth fault is fine split, to carry out the faults in the fine 3D characterization. According to the location of the breakpoint and the break separation of the breakpoint, accurately matched breakpoints on the well with seismic interpretation of fault surfaces.............

| Title | : | Basin Modeling Of Parts of the Niger Delta: Thermal Maturity Evaluation and Prediction Of Petroleum Generation |
| Country | : | Nigeria |
| Authors | : | Nwokocha, F. I. || Oti, M. N. |
Abstract: Predicting petroleum generation is a critical issue in prospect evaluation for the deeper prospects because of its economic implications. This paper focuses on predicting hydrocarbon charge in the deeper zones of the Niger Delta using integrated basin modeling methods and techniques. Burial history and stratigraphic profiles were generated for ten wells using the available well data whereas extrapolations were carried out for depths beyond total depth penetrated using data from adjacent field and estimates from the global sea level curve..............
