Abstract: An electrical resistivity and geologic investigation was carried out in selected parts of Mbano, Mbaise and Onuimo in Imo state Nigeria. Vertical electric surrounding (VES) technique was used along with lithologic logs from available water wells within the area in constructing the subsurface geology, water resources and their special relationship. Also the relationship between the VES and the lithologic logs was investigated. It was established that the VES data could be used in broadly constructing the geology of the subsurface, finding the depth to water table as well as estimating the thickness of the potential aquifers. The study was ale to identify the sources of surface water within the study area by superimposing water table and lithology at each location. The Benin formation is by far......

Abstract: Land use and land cover (LULC) mapping is important for various activities ranging from proper resource allocation to policy planning. Freely available satellite data from multispectral instruments has opened wide doors for their applications in urban planning, natural resource monitoring, and change analysis. Previously, many researchers have individually used multispectral instruments, i.e., Sentinel-2 (10m), Gaofen-6 (16m), and Landsat-8 (30m) for land-use classification, but till now, no study has evaluated the efficiency of these three instruments in land-use classification. So this study evaluated the comparison of these instruments using accuracy assessment and area esitimation by machine learning classification over the Mardan district of Pakistan. The study revealed that.......

Abstract: Background: The gravity method is one of the geophysical exploration methods, its application is made by measuring the acceleration of gravity below the earth's surface due to the distribution of mass density between rocks that are uniform in an area and topographic variations in the area. Earth surface. Ebulobo Volcano is located in Ngada Regency, Flores – East Nusa Tenggara. Ebulobo volcano another name Ambarombu located in the Ngada district has a stratotype of the volcano at the height of 2123 meters above sea level.
Materials and Methods: The gravity data in this study has an area of 10 km x 12 km with a distribution of 2530 observation points. This study aims to interpret the subsurface area of the Ebulobo Volcano based on the results of 3D inversion modeling using Grablox software.......
