Abstract: This study, carried out in Bouaké (Central department of Cote d'Ivoire), is based on the review processing of the aeromagnetic data collected during 1974 to 1976 by Kenting Earth Sciences company. Reduction to the equator and vertical integration filters were applied to the data to emphasizing the role of the geological structures on the productive aquifer network located in Bouaké area. As a result, the aquifer network of Bouaké is composed of felsic rocks (granitoids), schists and numerous faults with different directions such as N-S, NE-SW (main direction) and NE-SW, ESE-WNW, NNE-SSW and ENE-WSW. The schists and the fractures especially in N-S direction are the most interesting zone for underground water exploitation..

Abstract: Path dependent corrections relative to traveltimes have been demonstrated to improve event locations. Using available global velocity models, direction-based station corrections can be estimated in a region without calibration data. In this study, traveltime corrections have been obtained for 113 broadband seismic stations within southern Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and Sumatra region of Indonesia. A total of 97,124 first-arrival p-waves are obtained from 15,180 earthquakes that have occurred around the Sumatra Subduction Zone between 1964 and 2018. The dataset is a combination of arrival times from the bulletin of International Seismological Centre and waveforms.......

Abstract: Groundwater quality evaluation and characterization was carried out to determine the domestic and irrigation suitability of the groundwater occurrence within the Sharada and Challawa industrial estates. Hydrogeochemical field survey and sampling were undertaken with subsequent physico-chemical assessment and multivariate evaluation carried out to determine the water quality. This study revealed the area to consist of weakly acidic, low mineralized groundwater with pH of 6.0 and of Ca+Mg-HCO3 type, which is characteristic of shallow, fresh and hard-water. Parametric contributions to the groundwater are from sub-surface geochemical water-rock interactions and anthropogenic activities. Drinking water quality index (DWQI) revealed excellent.......
