Abstract: According to the literature Juniper (Juníperus commúnis) as possible implant material has proved biocompatibility with the animal muscle tissue and morphology of its trunk is similar to the morphology of bone, namely the presence of cross-perforations in the juniper allows capillaries to grow through, so usual rejection of the implantable material does not occur. This study shows developed synthetic polypropylene fibers as biomimetics (repeating structure) of juniper fiber and investigation of its mechanical properties. Morphology of Juniper was studied by field emission scanning electron microscope; cross-perforation of fibers was carried out with a focused laser beam pulses with a diameter of 5-10 μm synchronously scanning the fiber in the longitudinal direction and perforating............

Abstract: Reactive dyes contain different types of reactive groups which have different levels of sensitivity. Reactive dyeing is carried out by exhaust method on cotton knit fabric. A trichromatic combination is chosen containing vinyl sulphone and mono-chlorotriazine / vinyl sulphone reactive groups. Dyeing of fabric is carried out with standard condition and variation of the conditions (electrolyte concentration, pH, exhaustion time, fixation time and M:L). Colorimetric data (DE*) is produced by comparing the difference between standard shade and the resulting shades by using spectrophotometer. Here sensitivity is quantitatively expressed as color difference. Between the investigated reactive groups of reactive dye VS reactive group is more sensitive than MCT/VS reactive group of reactive dye.

Abstract:The paper presents the specific design process of narrow fabrics with elastomeric yarns, which production needs jacquard weaving machine. Some particularities, related with the use of elastomeric threads in the warp are discussed. The design of an elastic band is shown as an example of the application of a narrow jacquard weaving machine and its design software.

Abstract: RMG sector is the backbone of today's Bangladesh economy. Improvement in quality assurance system can play a vital role for improving productivity of the industries as well as economic development for the country. Improved quality assurance system can add strength in global competitiveness in the global textile market through improving quality as low quality means high cost and loss of competitive position. This paper shows a case study on quality assurance system of a selected garment factory by applying different statistical tools. ANOVA test and independent sample test are used for data analysis purposes. Through regression analysis on average DHU percent, it is found that the quality assurance system of the industry is in a better position and implementation of TQM philosophy thoroughly is recommended for further development.
